Sniper Elite: Resistance is an action game. It’s a thrilling third-person World War II game that focuses on sniping, stealth, and tactical combat. Set in occupied France, it follows Harry Hawker, a secret agent working with the French Resistance to stop the Nazis from developing a powerful new weapon that could change the outcome of the war. 

Sniper Elite: Resistance offers a new campaign that runs alongside the story of Sniper Elite 5. Players can go through the entire campaign alone or with a friend in co-op mode, where they can share strategies and help each other survive tough battles.

One of Sniper Elite: Resistance’s standout features is the X-ray kill cam, which shows in slow motion the impact of bullets as they hit enemies, making each shot feel intense and rewarding. To succeed, players need to think like a real sniper, considering things like wind, gravity, and heart rate before taking a shot. The game also allows players to customize their weapons.  

Players will be choosing different scopes, barrels, and ammunition to fit their style, whether they prefer sneaking around or going in with guns blazing. It also brings back the Axis Invasion mode, where players can invade another player's game as an enemy sniper, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement. The game also includes online multiplayer modes, where up to 16 players can compete against each other. 

You can also team up to fight waves of enemies in survival mode. However, the game’s emphasis on realistic sniping physics can be challenging for newcomers, requiring a period of adjustment and learning. Despite mission variety, some players might find the core gameplay loop repetitive over time. The game’s focus on graphic violence, especially with the X-ray kill cam, may not appeal to all players, particularly those sensitive to gore.
